Gemelo Backup Online is a remote backup service that provides your clients - via the Internet an easy and friendly way to automatically and securely backup their information, replicating the file structure of their folders and files.

 

Gemelo Storage Solutions has set up a new area of business for Telco's, ISPs and companies that would like to offer new value added services to their clients via the Internet. As such, companies in Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Columbia and Chile are currently generating income from their customers for online backup services.

 

There are two ways in which you can implement this new business area:

 

Integral:
We deliver our clients a key in hand Gemelo Enterprise application, customized with their look and feel. This solution is installed in our clients' infrastructure, which is previously dimensioned by Gemelo's engineers. We will also train your technical personnel, help desk and commercial staff. In short we develop and install this solution, and train your staff in this new area of business for your Company.

 

Business Partner:
We will customize the Gemelo Enterprise application with our client's look and feel. This customized solution is installed and managed in Gemelo's infrastructure, and our client's are then responsible for invoicing, account administration and help desk for their personalized solution.

 
 

An example of implementation

 

Spain's second largest telecom operator, Auna Telecomunicaciones, wanted to add value to their broad band offer by incorporating a service to protect their users information. As such, Gemelo Storage Solutions modified our Gemelo Backup Online solution with Auna´s look & feel, and also advised Auna on what infrastructure would be suitable to attend their large customer base, and the personnel that would be necessary to successfully operate the solution.

 
 

It took only 2 months for Auna to receive delivery of a new data backup service to be offered to the corporate customers, mid size businesses, SOHO and residential customers.
